ONA review

ONA The Brixton Review

ONAThe Brixton · Leather / waxed-canvas messenger
Verdict
8.6/10

ONA's Brixton is the bag most leather-bag shoppers cross-shop with Cravar. It has a similar layout to the Rana 13 — four removable dividers, two front pockets, a back magazine pocket — but usually costs more and weighs more in leather.

Best for: Shoppers who want the classic leather-camera-bag look from a brand stocked in camera stores.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Iconic, well-proven design
  • Wide availability at camera stores, so returns are easy
  • Waxed-canvas version is lighter and cheaper

Watch out for

  • Leather version is heavy (≈1.9 kg)
  • Usually pricier than a comparable Cravar Rana 13
  • Laptop limited to 13"

ONA vs Cravar

Against the Cravar Rana 13, the Brixton is roughly comparable in capacity. The Rana 13 is lighter empty (1.45 kg), takes some 14" laptops and usually costs less; the Brixton is easier to buy and return locally.

Prices are approximate street prices checked in October 2026 and vary by retailer, region and color. Specs come from the brand and authorized retailers.
