Cravar Rana Size Guide: 10 vs 11 vs 13 vs 15

Quick decision

Measure the laptop, not the screen. Cravar lists the maximum physical laptop width for each size. A "13-inch" laptop can be anywhere from about 30 to 31.5 cm wide; a "14-inch" from about 31 to 32.5 cm. Check your model's spec sheet.

Weight matters more than you think

Leather Ranas weigh 1.15–1.6 kg empty and 1.3–1.9 kg with all dividers — before any gear. If you'll carry the bag all day, consider dropping a size, or choosing waxed twill (the Rana 15 twill is about 200 g lighter than leather).

Divider layouts

The Rana 10 ships with a tablet/work panel, two vertical and two stack dividers. The 11, 13 and 15 add a third vertical divider and swap the tablet panel for a laptop panel. Stack dividers let you place small primes on top of each other, which is how reviewers fit more than the stated three lenses.
